Our English Book Club is a welcoming space for thoughtful conversation and shared perspectives, all in English. No literary expertise is required, just an open mind and your thoughts about the book. We'll discuss books originally written in English, including contemporary fiction, exciting new releases, and modern classics as well as works translated from Spanish. This book club meets the first Saturday of every month. The group is led by Kathleen Meredith, bookseller at Librería La Naranjah.

How to Join English Book Club?
Our English Book Club is free to attend with the purchase of the monthly book. You can purchase your book either at the bookshop or online.
To purchase your book online, simply add that month’s Book Club event to your cart. The event price is the price of the monthly book, and completing your order confirms your spot. You can then pick up your book at the bookshop before the meeting and start reading.
Already have a copy? No problem, you’re still very welcome to join us. You can purchase another book of equal value or pay a €5 attendance fee. Just come by the shop with any questions or send us a WhatsApp message or email to let us know which option you prefer and confirm your spot.

Kathleen Meredith is the founder and bookseller behind Librería La Naranjah.
She studied Spanish literature at universty and has a Masters in Literary Translation. She almost always has more than one book on the go, but she's especially drawn to character-driven stories that explore family, memory, identity, and coming of age through beautiful prose.
